One community. One January. A better shop.
Let’s build
the next chapter.
Help us raise €15,000 to transform Goblins & Gnomes in January 2027. You choose what we fund and vote on our priorities. A proper D&D tavern. Better tournament days. More space for your armies, your families and your favourite games.
Let’s get the improvements done together, instead of one small job at a time.

What we’re building
A better place
to spend game night.
The goal is one coordinated month of work, with clear progress updates along the way.
The D&D tavern
A dedicated room with atmosphere, named bricks and a proper home for your next campaign.
A fresh, organized shop
New floors, freshly painted walls, better shelving and a layout that makes it easier to find what you need.
Better tournament days
Bigger screens for pairings and standings, plus a streaming setup to share the action.
More room for everyone
Player storage for Warhammer armies, a kids’ corner in the main play area, kitchen improvements and more stock.
Time. Skills. Community.
Bring a skill. Lend a hand.
Leave your mark.
Money is only one way to help. Painting, moving shelves, organizing stock, setting up equipment or lending an hour all move us forward. If you can offer time, skills or useful materials, talk to us in the shop so we can plan it together. With your permission, we’ll recognize renovation helpers on a community thank-you panel in the finished shop. Every contribution matters.

Your priorities.
Choose the project your pledge funds, or vote for our priorities for free. You do not need to back the campaign to have a say. Every project that reaches its goal will be completed. Our target is to finish funded improvements during January 2027.

This is your shop too. If backing the campaign is not possible right now, you can still help decide what we work on first. Every priority vote has the same weight.

What does lifetime recognition mean?
Your inscription stays for the lifetime of the relevant room or table at Goblins & Gnomes; there is no annual renewal charge for the name. They may be relocated if the layout changes. They are recognition rewards, not ownership, reserved seating or exclusive naming rights. Final wording and placement are agreed with the shop.
Is this a recurring payment?
No. Each pledge is one payment in euros. Membership lasts for the number of months shown on your reward and does not automatically renew.
Can I keep my support private?
Yes. Public recognition is optional and unchecked by default. You can choose an alias, change your display name or withdraw permission on your receipt page. Your email and individual pledge amount are never published on the wall. An engraving is a separate choice, agreed before production.
How is my crowdfunding information used?
Ryan Walker, Goblins and Gnomes Gaming, Würzburger Landstraße 24, 91522 Ansbach, is responsible for your campaign information. Contact Goblinsandgnomesstaff@gmail.com. We use your name, email, reward, inscription and project choice to process and deliver your pledge (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payment and accounting records are kept as required by law (Article 6(1)(c)). We process withdrawal and membership termination statements, contact details, contract references and receipt timestamps to meet our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)) and handle the contract (Article 6(1)(b)). These records are retained for the applicable recordkeeping periods and, where needed, to establish or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).
Payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.; its privacy notice applies. We receive transaction status, amounts and PayPal payer information needed to verify payment. We do not receive your card number or PayPal password. A hashed PayPal payer identifier prevents repeat payments from adding extra priority votes. Free voting uses a random browser token, stored in your browser, with only its hash saved on the server. Linked free and paid votes are combined. A temporary hashed connection identifier limits automated submissions. Free voting does not require your name, email or payment details; only project totals are public.
The campaign uses the shop website and its OpenAI Sites/Cloudflare database. Only authorized managers can see contact and fulfilment information. A receipt access token is stored in your browser for up to 30 days; an unfinished checkout token lasts 30 minutes. These are necessary to retrieve your receipt and avoid duplicate checkouts.
Public display names and helper recognition are optional, based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw public-name permission on your receipt or by contacting the shop. Your email and individual pledge amount are never shown on the public wall. Engraving is agreed separately before production. Pledge information is kept for delivery, customer support and statutory accounting obligations. See the shop privacy notice for providers, international processing and your rights.
Withdrawal and membership cancellation / Widerruf & Kündigung
Consumers: you can withdraw from your reward contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. The period does not start before you receive the required withdrawal information. Use Withdraw from contract / Vertrag widerrufen, or send a clear statement to Ryan Walker, Goblins and Gnomes Gaming, Würzburger Landstraße 24, 91522 Ansbach, Germany; Goblinsandgnomesstaff@gmail.com; +49 177 6930574. Sending your statement before the deadline is enough. The model form below is optional.
After withdrawal, we refund all payments received for that contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your statement, using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, with no refund fee. The online function provides an immediate personal confirmation file containing your statement and its receipt date and time; save that file for your records. A receipt confirms your statement was received, not that PayPal has completed the refund.
Your included membership ends automatically after its stated term and does not renew. To submit a membership termination statement, including termination for an important reason, use the membership cancellation function. Withdrawal, membership termination and withdrawing permission for a public name are different requests. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by the project's funding result or renovation timetable.

How do payment and progress tracking work?
You choose a reward here and complete payment on PayPal. Returning to this website does not by itself confirm payment. The tracker counts only payments verified with PayPal and reflects refunds and reversals. Payment confirmation may take a little time.
How do project goals and voting work?
Each pledge goes to one project you choose. Priority voting is free for everyone, whether or not you can back the campaign. Save one choice in this browser and change or remove it on the free voting tab. Linked free and paid votes count once, and larger pledges do not buy more votes. A free vote stays valid even if a linked payment is refunded. Reaching an individual project goal commits us to completing that project; January 2027 is our target completion month. Votes guide scheduling and priorities, while project funding stays with its chosen purpose.
Are the plaque numbers shared across tiers?
There are 32 normal play-table positions: two top-mounted plaques, one at each short end of each of 16 tables. The six D&D table positions are shared across the €500, €1,000 and €2,500 tiers. A higher tier uses one D&D position, not an extra play-table position. A plaque celebrates your contribution; it does not reserve that seat or give ownership of the table.
Campaign dates, funding and delivery
Pledges close on 20 December 2026 at 23:59 CET. This is a one-time commercial payment for the listed reward package, not a charitable donation. The displayed price is the total price in euros, including applicable taxes; there is no additional campaign fee. PayPal collects payment immediately; funds are not held until a goal is met. Your pledge stays assigned to your chosen project. Every project reaching its goal will be completed, with January 2027 as the target. If a project falls short, we retain its funds for that project, honour your reward package and publish a later completion plan. Missing a project goal does not by itself trigger an automatic refund. Room-specific recognition and bookings become available when the relevant facilities are ready. Your membership starts at reopening and lasts its full stated term. Funds above a project goal support further improvements within that same project. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from contract conclusion; the full withdrawal notice and online withdrawal function are on this page. Statutory rights, including remedies if promised rewards are not provided, remain unaffected. Membership ends automatically after its included term; no notice is needed to stop renewal.
